Description

This site is an informational portal for informal trail runs in the mountains of New Mexico, Southern Colorado, and West (far far west) Texas.

The runs are informal, small-group activities intended to encourage camaraderie rather than competition. There is no sponsoring organization, just a loose-knit group of interested trail runners who enjoy running trails across the landscape of New Mexico (and adjacent parts of Colorado and Texas).

The purpose of this website is to provide coordination and information for those interested in joining the runs.

NOTE: Please contact the Race Directors beforehand of your plans to attend, or you may show up at the start alone.

Arriba! New Mexico

Next weekend is the Arriba! New Mexico run up in Taos, which goes up over Wheeler Peak. Just a reminder that we are doing a new route to avoid some private land that we used to run through. The link to the map can be found on the lower right of the blog. We are planning on starting at 9am due to the drive up from the Jemez, but anyone is free to do it on their own time and email me your time for the results.

Tomorrow Deb and I are heading up to the Sangres in Santa Fe to do the Beyond Baldy loop because we are going to be out of town on the 15th. Anyone is welcome to join us, might not get started until 9:30ish...and we go slow for Hardrock training so it will be mostly a hike.

That's it for now!
Steve
